These terms apply when you book an event with The Batch Social, a trading name of Richelle Lewton, sole trader.

Bookings
By booking a session, you agree to pay the listed price in full at the time of booking. Your spot is confirmed once payment is received.

​

Cancellations & refunds
See our full Cancellation Policy. In summary tickets are non-refundable. They can however be transferred to someone you know or to a place at a future session.

Ticket transfers
Tickets can be transferred to someone else, but we need at least 72 hours' notice via email, along with the new attendee's name and email. They must fill in our before your event form before the transfer is confirmed. For more details please see our Cancellation Policy.

Food & allergens

We cook in a shared kitchen environment and cannot guarantee any dish is entirely free from allergens. If you have a serious or severe allergy, please email us at events@thebatchsocial.com.

Group size
Standard public sessions hold up to 14 people. For groups larger than 10, please contact us directly to arrange a private group event.

Our right to cancel
If we need to cancel an event, you'll be offered a full refund or the option to move to another date.

​

Liability

The Batch Social holds public liability insurance. Cooking involves knives, heat and shared equipment, so please follow instructions on the day and let us know straight away if anything goes wrong.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that can’t be limited by law.

Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the price of your ticket. We’re not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings, or for food that hasn’t been stored, reheated or eaten in line with the guidance we give you.

You’re responsible for telling us honestly about any allergies and for following the safety instructions given during the session.
